Flow It, Show It

hairiest-man.jpgEveryone can find love on the internet, or so proclaim a dozen online dating sites. But we all know that when surfing for amour online, everyone is judged by the allure of their profile pics rather than the content of their character. First impressions and all. So, let’s hope that those seeking a deeper connection can look beyond the physical when seeing Yu Zhenhuan, who was the Guinness Book of Records’ “hairiest man” in 2002, because he is single again and back on the internets trying to find a match. Via Ananova:

“I was amazed to see his picture there, since I’d been hearing he was going to get married soon. So I called the media,” says the person who broke the story, and who wants to remain anonymous.

Yu, 29, confirmed: “We got to know each other through the internet, and had been seeing each other for three years. Unfortunately our relationship has come to an end.”

And he added: “My whole body is covered with hair, and my parents are worried I won’t be able to find a wife. Many girls are shocked when they see me in person.

“I feel like King Kong, hideous, but with a soft and tender heart,” he told Zhejiang Online.

The fact that he found someone before online is sort of hopeful, yes? And anyone who’s given a quick scan of the ol’ Craigslist personals can attest that whatever your condition, there’s someone that likely finds it erotic, at least fetishistically. Fingers crossed for Zhenhuan, if only to prove the old saw that there is indeed someone out there for each and every one of us. Otherwise…
