Based on the success of social networking site Facebook, a Canadian father and son team have created Dogbook and Catbook, where “pets can swap pictures and even messages — with the help of their owners, of course. They can list their favourite treats and even arrange meetings at local parks.” Naturally, the founders say their sites appeal “to empty nesters and young adults without kids.” Fill in your own pejoratives of said participants here.
