The shrieking right-wing nutjobs at World Net Daily — the site that political king maker Chuck Norris contributes to — are all a-tizzy about a perceived injustice to one of the most maligned segments of the populace: heterosexuals. According to their “exclusive” report, Alaska Airlines and Horizon air “will charge heterosexuals 10 percent extra for their air travel to specific locations during the Christmas season.” Or, rather, there is apparently a discount of 10% offered to those booking through what they call a “gay” page on the company’s website.
Bryan Fischer, of the Idaho Values Alliance, told WND the company boasts of its “nondiscrimination” policies, but, “here they are blatantly discriminating against heterosexuals in their pricing structure.”
“They are giving preferences to male passengers who want to wear dresses on the planes, and giving them preference over married couples,” Fischer said, noting families typically buy more tickets than individuals or pairs traveling together.
Wha what? I don’t think I’ve ever been on a plane with “male passengers who wear dresses.” And after traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday, I wish I had been. I’ll take a bitchy tranny over squealing babies and obese Midwesterners any day. Also: I would really love to see a heavy-set drag queen demonstrate the instructions on the safety card.
