Paul Pope, comic book writer and artist and avowed libertarian, has contributed his work to a new line of clothing by DKNY. Weird synergy, but the images work, sort of in a neo-Stephen Sprouse kind of way — though a little more somber. (Or not that, like I know from fashion.) Anyway! Nylon has some exclusive images of the Paul Pope line.
Yet, Newsarama’s blog points out the error in Nylon’s (or more pointedly writer Faran Krentcil’s) description of Pope’s superhero bona fides, “Marvel doesn’t publish Batman and that Spider-Man has a dash.”
