Playbill reports that Godspell, Stephen Schwartz’s musical that utilizes “improvisation and contemporary themes to illustrate the parables, [bringing] these lessons to life through the grand tradition of musical theatre,” is being revived on Broadway. Ugh. If the producers were going for stunt-casting I had a great suggestion, but he’s already abandoned his day-glo suspenders for glad rags.
